Paula Anderson attended LeMoyne-Owen College and earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 1996. In 2020, she earned a second bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. In 2021, Paula earned a master’s degree in Journalism and Strategic Media. She is a certified professional coder (CPC®) and approved medical coding instructor with (AAPC). Paula taught medical coding, Basic English, oral communication and public speaking at a community college for 10 years. She has taught media law, feature writing, reporting, introduction to public relations and public relations campaigns as an adjunct instructor at a liberal arts college and a four-year university in Memphis. Tenn. She has a passion for writing and wants to tell stories that inspire, inform and persuade. Her other strengths are planning, training and researching. Paula is the mother of one adult son. She says, “My most significant accomplishment is being a mother.” In her spare time, she likes to read inspirational and motivational books, connect with friends and dance. One of Paula’s favorite quotes is by Oprah Winfrey – “You can have it all, just not all at once.”
