Women-owned Logo Now Available to WBENC-Certified WBEs!

womenownedAttention all WBENC- Certified WBEs: The Women-Owned Logo was created and designed to appeal to consumers to raise their interest in Women-Owned product. The logo artwork and the Style Guide for correct usage are now available for download through password protected WBENCLink in the section “Logo/Brand Guidelines” in addition to a document with Frequently Asked Questions about the logo.

Market research conducted by Walmart found that 90 percent of female customers in the US would go out of their way to purchase products from women. These studies prove that utilizing and promoting this logo will help increase your visibility in the marketplace.

Women-owned businesses that are WBENC Certified are eligible to display the logo on their product packaging and can now download the Women-Owned Logo through WBENCLink under “Logo/Brand Guidelines”.

WBENC is pleased to partner with WEConnect International to implement this logo on store shelves in both the US and international markets. In addition WBENC is thankful to Walmart for their contributions to the new initiative, it would not have been possible without their support and resources.

Products will begin appearing on store shelves with the new women-owned business logo in Walmart by September 2014. WBENC looks forward to seeing many retail companies stocking their shelves with these branded products in the near future.
