Co-Working Space Exclusively for Women CEOs Facilitates Collaboration and Connection
NASHVILLE, TENN., – August 11, 2021 – The Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South), a regional partner organization of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), announces a ribbon cutting for its newest co-working space exclusively for women-owned businesses at the WB Collective Nashville. The ribbon cutting ceremony is on Thursday, August 19th at 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on the second floor of the INK Building at 613 Ewing Avenue. The event features brief remarks by city and business leaders, beverages and bites and selected women-owned pop up shops including Kinimi Kitchen, Kandles by Kierra, Bryla J. Couture Clothiers, Ash + Clay and Associated Benefits Consulting. Registration and masks are required for this event and attendance is limited to allow for safer gathering.
The WB Collective Nashville is an interactive work and networking environment dedicated to connecting CEOs, women business enterprises and facilitating relationships with corporate buyers. The 7,000 square-foot space is beautifully designed to stimulate creativity and collaboration. The WB Collective also hosts innovative programming for women entrepreneurs presented by WBEC South such as the Enterprising Women of Color initiative, powered by the Minority Business Development Agency, and Executive Roundtables on industry specific topics.
WBEC South is launching WB Collectives in the fastest growing cities for women entrepreneurs and opened the first one in New Orleans in December 2019, followed by Nashville in 2020, and Birmingham is slated in 2022. These distinctive spaces offer the ability to host hybrid events (in-person and virtual), catch up on emails, attend programming and network with potential customers in a sophisticated, professional environment. The membership plans include a range of amenities such as a hot desk, dedicated offices, conference room, high speed internet, office equipment use, mailboxes, state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, coffee/espresso service, WB Marketplace brojure and events.

The Nashville’s Rising Star: Showcasing the WB Collective ribbon cutting is a free, in-person event and attendees are required to wear masks and register on Eventbrite. Attendance is limited to allow for safer gathering. WBEC South partnered with corporations across the Southeast to bring the WB Collective to Nashville including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas, CoreCivic and Nissan North America, Inc.
