Who can attend this event?
The Welcome Reception is open to WBEs, corporate partners, and registered attendees of the WBENC Conference. It’s a great opportunity to network with peers from across the region and country.
Do I have to be registered for the WBENC Conference to attend?
No! Our reception is a WBEC South event and open to everyone in our network.
What should I wear?
Come as you are—fun, comfortable, and conference-chic! Sneakers are encouraged, especially if you’re coming straight from Sneaker Jam.
Where is the Welcome Reception being held?
Our reception will take place in the same location as Sneaker Jam: First Floor Convention Center, Hall J. Sneaker Jam ends at 7 PM, after which the room will briefly close for setup. The after-party will be held from 7 PM to 9 PM!
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! Enjoy light bites, drinks, and a lively atmosphere to unwind and connect after Sneaker Jam.
Do I need to register separately for the Welcome Reception?
Yes, this is a separate event from WBENC’s Sneaker Jam, and an RSVP is required to attend. The event is free for WBENC Conference attendees, WBEs, and corporate partners. Just make sure to RSVP in advance. Please register each guest individually.
