WBEC South Regional 1st Round Pitch Competition
Your First Step Toward the WBENC National Stage
The WBEC South Pitch Competition is the official regional qualifier for the prestigious WBENCPitch, a signature program of WBENC designed to help women-owned businesses strengthen their pitch skills, gain valuable exposure, and compete for funding to fuel their growth.
Each year, we invite certified WBEs from our region to apply by submitting a 60-second pitch video. Applicants must be WBEC South-certified and offer innovative products or services that stand out in today’s market.
From there, selected finalists will pitch live during WBEC South’s 2026 Pitch Competition at the WE Summit on September 29th. Four winners—two in the Product division and two in the Services division—will move on to represent our region in the WBENC Pitch Semi-Finals and, if selected, the Live National Finals.
All finalists receive access to expert pitch coaching through the WBENC Pitch Academy, including virtual sessions designed to help them sharpen their message and stand out to potential funders, buyers, and partners.

Get Pitch Coaching with WBENC Pitch Academy
The WBENCPitch Academy is the education and pitch training activation under the WBENCPitch program umbrella. The primary purpose of the academy is to prepare WBEs to apply and participate in WBENCPitch competitions.
WBEs who participate in the WBENCPitch Academy can expect to hone their business pitch and prepare to maximize pitching opportunities. WBEs will gain actionable resources for successful pitching across all mediums, access expertise and insights from coaches, and receive feedback from fellow business owners.
